Student

My name is Tommy, I'm a student at the University of West Florida in the College of Education & Professional Studies. I'm in my senior year and anticipate graduating in May 2026 with a Bachelor Degree and certifications in Exceptional Student Education/Elementary Education/English Speakers of Other Languages/ and Reading.

I have spent nearly a decade working multiple jobs in a community partnership school as well as other schools across Florida. This really inspired me and drew me interest to both the University of West Florida as well as teaching. Some of those jobs include: Mentoring, Tutoring, Teacher Assisting, Educator 1, Supervisor, and Extended Learning Coordinator of the Community Partnership School.

At UWF, I'm an Ambassador for the Student Organization Council for all the sports clubs at the University. I'm an officer for Kappa Delta Pi: Omicron Delta, as well as an Officer for the Esports team. The real kicker to all of this, I'm doing all of this and more as an Online Student on the other side of Florida.
